SANDI V. WELDON

About Sandra:

Sandra V. Weldon has been performing, directing, choreographing & teaching in the Bay Area for over forty-five years.  She has recently moved to New York City to continue her career as a voice over artist and actor.

She was cast as Anita in West Side Story directed by the legendary Harold Lang , married Officer Krupke and stayed on the West Coast to win the San Francisco Council on Entertainment’s “Cabaret Gold Award” along with Joel Grey & Ertha Kitt, and the Marin Arts Council’s “Outstanding Achievement in the Arts” from the Marin Arts Council for her work as Creative Artist in the Marin County schools. For her Master’s thesis she adapted The Frogs into a musical which Stephen Sondheim produced on Broadway.

She was nominated by the Theatre Bay Area Critics Circle as Featured Actress for her role in August Osage County directed by Terry McGovern. She is currently working with Austin Pendleton, Bruce Kronenberg of Abacus Studios, Paul Liberti, Edge Studios , Mary Lyn Henry and is the host and creator of The Actors Reading Group with members from all over the world.

Sandra plays Nana in Netflix series Go Go Cory Carson which won an Emmy.

She has done several films which include With Banners Flying streaming on On Demand, Anne of Green Gables, Little Women, The Ogre, Comes Around and Zoomer Vs. Boomer.
